Introduced in 1991, the Wright Spirit Award recognizes efforts of extraordinary individuals and organizations that have preserved the legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright through tireless dedication and persistent efforts. The awards are presented annually at the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy Conference.
Eleven Spirit Awards were presented this year, and seven of the awards recognize significant contributions to the restoration of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House.
The 2020 conference was slated to be in Buffalo this year. Like most events, the conference was reimagined and is now virtual. The Spirit Awards were celebrated during a special online Gala on Saturday, November 14. Registration is open to the public, and more information is below.
