When can I have my wedding at the Martin House?
Weddings can be booked at the Martin House most evenings depending on our programming and special event calendar. Typically, setup can begin at 3:30pm. All weddings must end by 9:30pm.
How many people can the Martin House host for a wedding (ceremony only)?
Packages vary, but our maximum capacity is 50 people, including the wedding party and the officiant.
What types of weddings can I have at the Martin House?
We offer various packages ranging from the Intimate for small groups up to the Estate, our complete package which includes ceremony, seated reception with bar and dancing, and beautiful ‘getting ready’ space options. All weddings must have a full-service caterer.
What is included in the rental fee?
Our base rental fee, starting at $800, includes access to your chosen space for the reserved time and date. Depending on the unique elements and the complexity of your wedding, total rental fees vary. Every event also includes a refundable security deposit and an administrative fee to cover the Martin House’s operational costs associated with hosting your wedding.
Under what circumstances might I lose my security deposit?
Your security deposit will not be returned if your wedding does not follow our event guidelines. Examples include but are not limited to:
- Excessive garbage left on-site
- Smoking on-site
- Events not ending promptly
- Exceeding the maximum number of guests allowed in a space
- Property, collections, and/or building damage
Can I include a tour of the Martin House as part of my wedding?
Absolutely. Private tours of the historic Martin House are available before or during your event.
Is there a rain plan?
Events at the Martin House are rain or shine.
