Reading By Design Book Club
Join us for our Book Club where we will be reading books relating to our exhibition: Collecting Ourselves, which focuses on the future of collections at Martin House while engaging with current topics in museum work. This session will cover Chasing Aphrodite by Jason Felch & Ralph Frammolino with discussion facilitated by Cathleen Chaffee.

Our Summer Music Series is BACK! Grab a chair or blanket and enjoy music amidst our stunning gardens.
The George Scott Big Band is a long-running Western New York jazz ensemble, known for its vibrant big band sound and performances at major regional festivals and events since 2000.

Self-Guided Audio Tours | Offered 5:00-8:00pm
Explore the Martin House at your own pace on our new audio tour! Using your own smartphone and headphones, enjoy an immersive audio experience as you move through the first floor of the house, the Pergola, Conservatory, and Carriage House.

Printmaking Workshop |6:00-8:00pm
Learn about the art of printmaking at the Martin House and have the chance to make your own prints!
Join Michelle Phillips, New York State Parks Paper Conservator, to learn more about this art form and the use of Japanese Woodblock Prints within the Martin House. This will be followed by a printmaking workshop led by the Martin House’s own Zhenya Doolan.

The Strictly Hip are a Buffalo-based tribute band dedicated to celebrating The Tragically Hip’s music with high-energy, faithful performances that have built a passionate fan base across North America.

Wright Through A Woodworker’s Eyes | 5:30-7:30pm
Join New York State Conservators Paige Schmidt and Julienne Dawidoff along with the Maritn House’s Curator, Susana Tejada and Curatorial Associate, Jordan Scott, to learn about the conservation efforts that occur at the Martin House.

Spend a summer evening painting at the Martin House!
We will gather around the Floricycle, enjoy the blooming flowers, and create art inspired by the beautiful surroundings. Please enjoy complimentary drink as you create your artwork! All materials will be provided. Please note that the plan may change if weather conditions do not permit.
