On May 30, 2018, we broke ground on our last phase of restoration – the return of the historic landscape!
Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul was on hand to lead the groundbreaking, with remarks from Martin House landscape architect, Mark Bayer, Martin House board president Keith Stolzenburg, and Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown.
We are so thankful to our state and local representatives for believing in the Martin House; to our staff, volunteers, and board members who have dedicated their time and talents to the project, and to the Western New York community at large for their continued support.
Visitors will be able to experience the first sign of the Wright-designed landscape in spring 2019, as planting begins now and will be ongoing through the end of this year.
With your support – the journey continues!
