Memory Cafe – Gardens of Graycliff

The Memory Café provides a nurturing and social atmosphere where caregivers and individuals facing memory challenges, such as Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, can find respite through casual conversations and collaborative activities. This inviting space is designed to promote quality time and strengthen connections.

Join us for a session at Graycliff that celebrates the vibrant gardens on campus. Guests and their caregivers will be guided through a colorful exploration of the property’s seasonal blooms, including sharing various flowers currently flourishing. The session will highlight the contributions of landscape designer Ellen Shipman and Isabelle Martin’s vision for the gardens, along with a hands-on introduction to flower frogs and their purpose in floral arrangements. Following our garden journey, participants will engage in a creative workshop using fresh floral materials. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

This FREE program is tailored for individuals experiencing early to mid-stage memory loss. Please note that the Martin House is not fully ADA accessible.

We have space for 10 participants and their caregiver (1 reservation per pair). Reserve a spot for your loved one today!
