Design Aloud: John H. Waters
Frank Lloyd Wright’s 1903 Walser House became a direct prototype for later houses including the Barton House in Buffalo. After several years of advocacy by the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy and others, the endangered Walser House is now on the threshold of a new phase of life that is expected to lead to its restoration. This talk led by John H. Waters will discuss the house’s place in Wright’s work, including its connections to the Barton House.
Seating is limited and pre-registration is required. The lecture will be held in the Greatbatch Pavilion Visitor Center, an accessible event space.
