The Martin House Junior Board may be for you!
We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals who believe in our mission to preserve, interpret, promote, and sustain an integrated composition of world-class architecture, design, and landscape.
Junior Board Goals
- Raise awareness and support Martin House’s mission, vision, and daily work
- Develop and inspire the next generation of leaders to value and appreciate architecture, history, and historic preservation
- Support Buffalo’s rising leaders as they seek to grow and make connections in the field and within the nonprofit sector
- Organize and execute one fundraising event as a Board per year at the Martin House
Junior Board Highlights
- Network with other Junior Board members and the Martin House Board
- Gain nonprofit board experience and training
- Go behind-the-scenes and immerse yourself in this architectural treasure
- Receive a free Martin House Individual Membership, including special access to tours, discounts on-site, and reciprocal benefits at other cultural institutions
- Support one of the architectural jewels of Buffalo and become a part of the Martin House community
- And more!
Terms & Qualifications
Applicants interested in joining the Junior Board should:
- Commit to a 2-year term of service starting in June 2024
- Be between 25-40 years old
- Submit resume and 250 words on why you’re interested in joining the Junior Board
There will be a maximum of 20 Junior Board members to ensure the best possible experience for all.
Applications are due by Friday, May 17, 2024.
