Today, your gift ensures a vibrant visitor experience for years to come through the development of new educational programming and innovative tours, assistance with the care and acquisition of our collections, and the preservation of the historical grounds and gardens.

The Martin House inspires, educates, enlightens, and engages students and adults alike through tours and educational programs focusing on architecture, design, art, and landscape. With the increasing focus on Buffalo as a city of world-class architecture, students of all ages are seeking unique learning opportunities, and the Martin House offers a wealth of subjects and content from which to explore and learn. Your support will help us continue to develop and expand these unique programs and provide access for all.

The Martin House is a world-class museum of architecture, design, and landscape with an outstanding collection of art glass, furniture, artifacts, and decorative objects. Join us in building an even stronger collection with a gift of art.

Gifts may be made through extraordinary opportunities to:

  • Donate original objects vital to the Martin House collection
  • Target funds to support the acquisition of exceptional Martin House collection objects in danger of being sold or lost or that may turn up at auction
  • Reproduce significant examples of Wright-designed art glass and furniture fundamental to the interpretation of the Martin House

In addition, you may direct your gift to benefit general art-related activities to include exhibitions, publications, object conservation, collections management, digital engagement projects, and many other curatorial initiatives.

The Martin House gives careful consideration to all gifts of art before they become part of the collection. Please contact the curator at 716.856.3858 or

An Endowment Fund at the Martin House has been established to be a source of stable, predictable, and growing financial support for the future. This important fund will continue to further our mission: to preserve, interpret, promote and sustain an integrated composition of world-class architecture, design, and landscape for future generations.

If you have made or are considering a gift to the Martin House Endowment Fund, please email our Executive Director or call 716.856.3858 x202. We wish to fully honor your intentions and answer your questions.
