Summer Camps

Summer Camps

July 9-13, 2018 and July 16-20, 2018

9AM-3PM

Entering grades 3-8

The Martin House Summer camp explores architecture and design through the lens of Frank Lloyd Wright.  Our program offers unique, hands-on projects that engage campers with our site and city.  During our first week we will learn about the built environment, and what makes a site a treasure.  Campers will go on a Buffalo architecture scavenger hunt and build a collaborative graffiti board.  In the second week of camp we will use air dry clay to make a signature tile (Just like Frank!), and create paper pulp design inspired by nature.  We will learn about the sculptures at the Martin House, and design our own urn.
